American Arcadia Walkthrough – Table of Contents

Chapter 5 (Contd.)
Scene 22
On gaining control of Trevor, switch to CCTV mode and open the door.
Exit the door and keep going right until you reach a series of spotlights, where you should switch to CCTV mode.
These spotlights are on timers, so if you turn them off and take too long, they’ll turn back on.
The middle spotlight is broken, so you can’t operate it but it will flash intermittently. The fourth spotlight is turned off by default and it’s best not to touch it.
Observe the third spotlight’s timing, and then begin by turning off the first spotlight just as you run into its area, and then do so for the second as well.
Make a run through the third spotlight before it turns on, and enter the dark area under the fourth spotlight. Then, simply turn off the fifth spotlight and run through.
Once you’re indoors again, go right until you reach the trolley with the machine on it (labelled 960XR). Drag it to the left until you’re below a vent with red light seeping through it.
Climb aboard the machine and then jump into the vent to the right side. Go right and make your way up the platforms and ladders.
Keep going right until you reach another CCTV zone, where Trevor mentions the area being full of drones. Here, you must hide behind the green structure – if you step out, you will be seen and caught.
Switch to CCTV mode and press the orange node panel next Trevor. We now need to follow the yellow cable through the 7 cameras in this area to find the drones’ control panel.
This is easily solved by paying attention to the floors of each room.
After hacking the node on Cam 0, switch to Cam 1 and hack the only node here.
Then switch to Cam 2 to find that the yellow cable enters a vent. Switch to Cam 6 and hack the node next to the vent.
Switch to Cam 5 and hack the node immediately to the left of the middle door.
Next, switch to Cam 3 and hack the node to the left of the door.
Finally, switch to Cam 4 and hack the node behind the interceptor. Now hack the leftmost node in the ‘Drone Charge Area’.
This gives you access to the leftmost drone, so go ahead and hack it.
Now that you’re in the drone’s viewpoint, zap the interceptor to the right of the screen.
Keep an eye on the room in front of you now and switch to the drone there when the prompt is visible to you.
As the second drone (Cam 1), wait until you can see the next drone and then switch to it.
Switch back to Cam 1 and zap the interceptor in this room for good measure.
As Cam 2, zap the guard in the room with the gray tiled floor.
When the drone approaches the big warehouse, you’ll be able to switch to another drone flying high up.
As Cam 3, zap the interceptor below you (the one close to Trevor), and then switch to the next drone, which is on the other side of the warehouse. In the screenshot below, you can see its prompt in the top-right of the screen.
As Cam 4, zap the interceptor standing at the top of the stairs. (Note that if you restart checkpoint, this will be labeled Cam 0 now).
Then, switch to the drone far in the back of this area, beyond the giant, green-covered box.
As Cam 5 (aka Cam 1 after restarting checkpoint), wait until the drone goes to the left and then switch to the final drone.
Neither Cam 5 nor Cam 6 can zap the interceptor behind the window blinds, so we’ll have to draw him out somehow.
Exit CCTV mode and go right as Trevor. Keep going right until you find a red button to press. Here, wait for Cam 6 (aka Cam 2 after restarting checkpoint) to start moving right, towards the open window.
When it does this, have Trevor press the red button and switch back to CCTV mode immediately.
As Cam 6, zap the interceptor through the open window, and then switch back to Trevor.
Wait for the big door to open and then run through to the right.
At a certain point, you’ll have the option to switch to CCTV mode again. Do so and interact with the floor below Trevor.
Scene 23
Start running right once you regain control of Trevor, and when he enters the shallow water, switch to CCTV mode. Open the valve right after Trevor passes it, so that the steam hits Javert.
Go right, climbing up the crates, and jump onto the suspended platform. Switch to CCTV mode to raise it and jump over to the other side.
Keep going right and repeat the valve procedure when you reach the next valve. Note that here you also have to push down a wooden board while Javert is distracted.
As you keep going right, you’ll have another valve section to deal with.
Then, you’ll find a ledge too high to jump up. Pull the trolley under this ledge to the left, and climb onto the machine on the trolley. Jump up onto the ledge and continue right.
Keep going right and jump off the ledge onto the rickety ladder. (Note that due to what is possibly a bug, Javert may catch you before you can make the jump, forcing you restart at the last checkpoint).
Once Trevor gets up, go right until the chapter ends.
