Staying warm is a key part of surviving in Lego Fortnite. Being cold slows down your movement speed and, if your temperature drops below safe levels for too long, it’ll eat away at your health.

How to stay warm in Lego Fortnite

Survival in Lego Fortnite not only means dealing with baddies, but also managing your own hunger and temperature. Since you need to explore biomes with temperature extremes, that means you have to learn how to deal with the heat and cold. You’ll explore the Frostlands’ snowy biome as you progress through Lego Fortnite. It’s where you’ll find frostpine, malachite, sapphire, and iron.

Heading into Lego Fortnite’s Frostlands biome means you’re going to have to deal with the cold. The Frostlands’ cave are freezing cold, so you’ll need to prepare before exploring too far. Luckily, you have options:

• Eating a spicy pepper will give you two minutes of resistance to the cold. You’ll find them growing in the desert.
• Make a spicy burger (1 meat, 1 spicy pepper, 1 flour) at a grill. Flour comes from processing wheat into wheat grain and then into flour at a grain mill (20 knotroot rods, 20 granite slabs, and 3 shells).
• Craft an inner fire charm (3 wool thread, 5 cut ruby, 8 brightcore, and 3 blast cores) at an upgraded workbench. The charm gives you permanent resistance to cold.

The effects of the inner fire charm and the spicy peppers (or spicy burgers) stack, so use both to make sure you stay warm.
