Thanks to another heads up from a good friend of ours , we’ve been told that if you’re looking for something different to play on your C64 where you can play with a friend, then make sure to check out Siegfried Croes latest game demo of ‘Stranded Cats ‘; A game in which the developer describes as a multiplayer (split-screen) adventure game. To coincide with this news, you can view the latest footage provided by Saberman below.
Here’s the latest about the game. “Your ship has crash-landed on an island. In order to repair it, you’ll need to go out and explore. Look out for monsters. Defeat them before they can hit you. Scattered around the island you’ll also find boxes. Some of these might contain the materials you need, so break them all. Either player can carry up to 5 at a time. Walk over to your ship (stand on grey tile) to drop them off and heal your wounds. If a player loses all their health, the other player can walk up to them for healing. On the mini-map you can see the position of both players, the position of your ship (black dot), and which parts of the island you’ve explored so far”.
Demo Notes : Missing audio and might have a few graphical glitches here and there. It will be turned into a full game in the future.
