I have been wondering about the ripple and foam effects that you observe in games like Uncharted 4 when the motorboat moves (like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR7f8Z3t6_Q)
Or the effects on the water from the UE5 superman demo (link: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eyf7mgZBj3M)
Does anyone have any idea what this physical phenomenon is called? Also, is it possible to do something like this in Unity? Has it been done before because I don’t see any parameter in Unity HDRP’s ocean object for this effect.
