The Kingdom Hearts series is wildly popular, so it should come as no surprise that preorders for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Series Sora amiibo continue to sell out. However, preorders are once again live at Best Buy and Target–though you’ll have to move fast if you want to reserve a unit before they disappear.

Slated for a February 16 release, the Sora amiibo features the star of Kingdom Hearts with his signature Keyblade. Fans were initially worried the hero wouldn’t get the amiibo treatment, as he’s not directly tied to Nintendo (first appearing in games that were a collaboration between Disney and Square Enix). But it looks like his arrival in Super Smash Bros is enough to justify a release, and fans are clearly excited for its release in February.
The amiibo is priced at just $16, and while scanning it into your Switch will grant you a variety of in-game bonuses, Nintendo is yet to reveal specifics. But seeing as Sora makes an appearance as a premium fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, we wouldn’t be shocked to see something unique offered for the game.
Looking to add Sora to your in-game Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster? Then you’ll need to pick up the Fighters Pass Volume 2, which features six fighters–including Min Min, Steve & Alex, Sephiroth, Pyra/Mythra, Kazuya, and Sora.
Unfortunately, retailers haven’t announced when a new batch of Sora amiibo preorders will go live, so if you miss out on this current batch, you’ll have to stay vigilant for the next one.
