Magic Design Studios has today announced its 2D rogue-like Have a Nice Death will be released on PS5, PS4 today for $24.99. PS Plus members can snag a discount on the game until 18th December 2023, and you can check out what awaits in the new launch trailer above. The title first released on PC and Nintendo Switch towards the start of the year, where it received a positive critical reception.
In a press release, lead game designer Simon Dutertre thanked the game’s fanbase and commented on how thrilled the studio is to launch on PS5, PS4. “To the PlayStation and Xbox players out there, thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy your time in Death Incorporated!”
Have a Nice Death brings an 81-rated Metacritic experience to PS5, PS4 today. Our sister site Nintendo Life awarded the game an 8/10 and praised its combat and visuals. “Have a Nice Death may not reinvent the wheel for roguelites, but this is a high-quality new entry in the genre. The brutal difficulty, creative theming, and satisfying combat all combine to make this a memorable and worthwhile experience, even if we wish it had better performance.”
